Cosmopolitan

I am a cosmopolitan artist who sees himself as a global citizen and feels a responsibility to all of humanity, rather than identifying solely with a national identity. I am open-minded and familiar with various countries and cultures, and I feel at home everywhere. In biology, a cosmopolitan species is one that has spread across a large part of the Earth, like the peregrine falcon, a bird I love very much.

Philosophical stance: The idea of ​​cosmopolitanism states that all people are entitled to equal respect and that a universal community is possible.

As an artist described as a cosmopolitan, I am characterized by an open, cosmopolitan outlook and a strong connection to different cultures and places, regardless of origin. Such artists are often internationally active, and their works reflect global themes and influences, even if they may settle in a particular homeland. Examples include artists like Giovanni Segantini, who was known as a "stateless cosmopolitan," despite living and working in Switzerland.

International Networking: Many cosmopolitan artists travel and work internationally, are known in various countries, and often have a worldwide following.

Transnational Influences: Their artwork can draw on influences from diverse cultures, traditions, and perspectives, thus reflecting global themes and ideas.

Strong Local Roots (Despite Cosmopolitanism): Even if considered cosmopolitan, they may still have a deep emotional connection to a specific place. I, for example, have a strong emotional bond with the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.

Openness and Worldview: I am open to new ideas and experiences, which is reflected in the diversity of my artistic expressions and themes.
